1. Who is responsible

2. What we collect, and why

When you submit the quote form or the contact form, we collect the name, email address, phone number and message you type, plus the page you submitted from. We use it for one purpose: to call you back and handle your plumbing request. Providing it is voluntary, but without a phone number we cannot call you back.

When you call or message us on WhatsApp, we hold the phone number and the details of your request so we can dispatch a plumber and issue an invoice.

If you accept statistics, we collect anonymous usage data about the pages you visit. If you decline, we collect nothing of the sort and the site works exactly the same.

3. Who processes it for us

Supabase (database hosting) stores form submissions. Netlify hosts the website and processes the technical logs any web server keeps. Pipedream relays form submissions to our team inbox. Google Analytics 4 provides audience statistics, and only if you have accepted them.

These providers act on our instructions. Google Analytics involves a transfer outside the European Union, which is one of the reasons it is switched off until you accept it.

We never sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Cookies and statistics

No analytics or advertising cookie is set before you choose. The banner offers "Accept statistics" and "Decline"; nothing from Google loads until you accept. Your choice is stored in your browser so we do not ask again.

To change your mind, clear this site's data in your browser settings and the banner will appear again on your next visit.

The site also relies on strictly necessary storage to remember your cookie choice. That one cannot be switched off, because it is what stops the banner reappearing.

5. How long we keep it

Quote and contact requests: three years from our last exchange, which is the usual French commercial prospection period.

Invoicing and intervention records: ten years, as required by French accounting and construction-liability rules.

Analytics data: fourteen months.

6. Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its processing, and withdraw your consent to statistics at any time.

Write to hello@plumbers.fr. We answer within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French data protection authority.
